Botswana Agate
No two beads are the same. That's not a selling point — it's just the truth of Botswana agate. Each one carries its own banding, its own movement of color: teal bleeding into caramel, cream fading into gray, warmth and cool existing in the same stone without apology.

THE STONE
Botswana Agate banded chalcedony / silica / microcrystalline quartz
Botswana agate is found primarily in the Bobonong region of Botswana, Africa, and is formed when silica-rich water seeps into rock cavities and deposits layer after layer of chalcedony over millions of years. Each band represents a different period of deposition — which is why no two stones look alike. The color range is unusually soft for an agate: muted teals, warm tans, grays, creams, and blush tones that shift depending on light. It's one of the more understated agates in the mineral world, not trying to be flashy — just quietly remarkable. Botswana agate has been used as a grounding and protective stone across many cultures, often associated with comfort, calm, and a sense of wholeness.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Botswana agate is a durable stone and holds up well with basic care. Remove before swimming, soaking, or showering — prolonged water exposure can weaken the stretch cord over time. Avoid contact with harsh chemicals, perfumes, and lotions. To clean, wipe gently with a soft dry cloth. Store flat or in a pouch to keep the cord from stretching out between wears. With good care, this bracelet will last.
