Amazonite
There's a particular color that only exists in two places — the shallow end of a very clear lake on a very calm day, and amazonite. Soft aqua. Pale green. Something between both, depending on the light.
These beads are 12mm — substantial, present, the kind of bracelet you actually feel on your wrist. Each one has its own slight variation in color and pattern, that characteristic misty quality that makes amazonite look like it has weather moving through it. No dye, no treatment. Just the stone doing what the stone does.

THE STONE
Amazonite potassium feldspar / microcline / lead & water inclusions
Amazonite is a variety of microcline feldspar, and its color — that distinctive soft blue-green — comes from trace amounts of lead and water within the crystal structure. It forms in granite pegmatites and has been found on nearly every continent, though it takes its name from the Amazon River, where early traders sourced vivid green stones (though ironically, no significant amazonite deposits have been found in the Amazon basin itself). The stone has a long human history: it was used in ancient Egypt, found in King Tutankhamun's tomb among his burial treasures, and carved into amulets and jewelry across multiple ancient cultures. The Romans prized it, and it appears in pre-Columbian artifacts from the Americas as well. Its color varies from pale mint to deep teal depending on the concentration of trace minerals — the beads in this bracelet sit in that soft, luminous middle range that amazonite is most known for.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Amazonite is a moderately durable stone but has a tendency to cleave along its natural crystal planes if struck sharply — handle with care and avoid dropping on hard surfaces. Keep away from water; prolonged exposure can affect the surface over time. Remove before swimming, showering, or soaking. Avoid harsh chemicals, perfumes, and lotions, which can dull the finish. Wipe clean with a soft dry cloth. Store flat or in a pouch away from harder stones that could scratch the surface.
